Chilly Soy Nuggets

Chilly Soy Nuggets

Ingredients:
Soy Nuggets: 1 Cup
Corn Flour: 4 Tablespoon
Vinegar: 2 tablespoon
Soya Sauce:1 Tablespoon
Hot and sweet tomato sauce: 8 tablespoon
Onion:  1
Spring onion: 1 ( for garnish)
Capsicum: 1/2
Minced ginger and garlic : 3 tablespoon
Salt and black pepper to taste
Oil: 4-5 tablespoon


Method:
Soak soy nuggets in hot water for 8-10 minutes. Squeeze the nuggets and remove any excess water from it.
Add corn flour ,a tablespoon of vinegar and soy sauce , 2 tablespoon of hot and sweet tomato sauce and a pinch of salt to the nuggets. Toss it well. Now in a deep pan, take 2 tablespoon of oil and shallow fry the nuggets for a minute or two. Turn off the heat and bring the nuggets off the pan.

Chop onion and capsicum into thin tiny cubes. In a deep pan, take 2 tablespoon of oil. Add chopped onion and minced ginger garlic. Saute it till the onion turns golden brown. Add  2 tablespoon of soy sauce, 6 tablespoon hot and sweet tomato sauce , salt and crushed black pepper. Add  a cup of water and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add capsicum cubes and cook it for another minute or so.
Turn off the heat. Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and garnish it with chopped spring onions.

Your Chilly Soy Nuggets are ready to eat.
Serve it hot with steamed rice or noodles.
