Soft Vanilla Cookies with Butter Cream Frosting

For Cookies:

Plain flour: 2.5 Cups
Sugar: 3/4 Cup
Vanilla Extract: 1.5 Tablespoon
Eggs: 2
Unsalted Butter: 3/4 Cup
Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking Powder: 2 Teaspoon
For Frosting:
Powdered Sugar: 1.5 Cup
Butter: 3 Tablespoon
Vanilla Essence: 1/2 teaspoon
Milk: 3-4 tablespoon ( adjust the quantity as per the consistency of the frosting)

 Mix butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence in a large bowl. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Whisk it till the cookie dough becomes smooth.
Cover it with a lid and let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour.
 Once done, preheat the oven at 190 C . Take the cookie dough and divide it into equal ball sized pieces. Press each cookie dough gently with your palm and flatten it a bit.
 Lay them on the cookie sheet and bake in the pre heated oven for 10-12 minutes.

Take the cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool.

To make the frosting bring powdered sugar, softened butter and vanilla essence in a deep bowl. With the egg beater, whisk it till the ingredients combine well. Gradually add milk to adjust the consistency of the frosting.
Now take a tablespoon of frosting and put on the baked cookies. Decorate it with sprinkles.

Your soft vanilla cookies with butter cream frosting are ready to eat.
