Chocolate Chips French Toast


Whole Wheat Bread: 6 slices
Eggs: 3
Milk: 2-3 tablespoon
Brown Sugar: 3 Tablespoon
Cinnamon Powder: Pinch
Chocolate Chips : Handful
Olive Oil for cooking.

Break eggs in to a deep bowl. Whisk it such that the yolk and whites combine well. Add brown sugar, cinnamon powder and milk to the eggs. Whisk it again until the sugar dissolves.
Preheat a tablespoon of oil on a griddle pan. Dip a bread slice into the egg mixture and lay it on the pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on the top side of the bread. Press it with a spatula so that chocolate chip stays in there. Once the lower part of the bread turns golden brown, flip it over and cook it on the other side. Drizzle oil as needed.
Bring the bread off the pan.
Repeat the process for the rest of the bread slices.

  1. can we use something else other then eggs?

  2. For French toast, egg is the main ingredients so I don't think its a good idea to skip that :)
