Breads- 8-10 slices
Corn Kernels - 1/2 cup
Green Peas: 1/2 Cup
Boiled Potato: 1 large ( mashed)
Onion- 1/2 Cup finely chopped,
Ginger: 1 tablespoon (Minced)
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp,
Green Chili: 1
Green Coriander: Handful
Cornflour - 2tbsp,
Black sesame seeds- 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste and oil for frying .
Method- Take 2 tablespoon of oil in a deep pan and add chopped onions, green chili and minced ginger. Sauté it till the onions become translucent. Meanwhile boil green peas and corn till they become a little tender.
Now add the boiled corn and peas to the onions in the pan. Add salt and fresh ground black pepper. Add mashed potatoes and mix it well. Turn off the heat. Add chopped coriander to the mixture. Your stuffing is ready.
Now take the bread slices and discard the edges.
Dip the bread slices in water and squeeze it between your palms to drain out any excess water.
Now put 2 tablespoon of corn and peas stuffing on one side of the bread. Roll it from the other side to make it look like a wrap. Close all the sides and seal it properly. Finally sprinkle some black sesame seeds on the roll and keep them ready. Repeat the similar process with the remaining breads.
Deep fry the stuffed rolls in a pre heated oil till golden brown.
Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve it hot with tamarind Chutney or any ketchup of your choice.
