Dry Fruits Milk seasoned with Ginger Powder

Assorted Dry Fruits
 Almonds: 8-10
Cashews: 8-10
Raisins: handful
Dried dates: 2-3
Dried Apricots: 4-5
Milk: 2.5 Cups
Sugar: 3 Tablespoon or less
Dry Ginger Powder: 1 tablespoon
Ghee (Clarified Butter): 1 Teaspoon
Cumin Seeds:  1 Teaspoon

Soak dry fruits over night in a large bowl of water.
Chop the soaked dry fruits and grind them in a mixer to make a coarse paste.

Take ghee in deep pan. Add cumin seeds. Once the seeds starts crackling , add 2 tablespoon of the dry fruit paste. Sauté the mix for a minute or so till it turns golden brown.
Add milk and let it simmer on low flame. This would take good 10-15 minutes.
Keep stirring in between so that dry fruit mix does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
In a separate small bowl, take 2 tablespoon of cold milk and add dry ginger powder to it. Mix it with the spoon.

Pour this dry ginger powder milk to the already boiling milk pan. Add sugar and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and pour it into the cups for serving.

Your Ginger Dry fruits milk is ready to sip.

NOTE:  You can store the remaining portion of the dry fruit paste in the freezer for a fortnight. Also, you can adjust the dry ginger powder to your taste. If you like the flavor to be strong, you can increase it to 1.5 tablespoon too.
