Cottage Cheese: 250 gms
Soy granules: 1/2 Cup
Ginger Paste: 1 tablespoon
Cumin Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves: handful
Curry Powder: 1 tablespoon
Bread Crumbs: 1 Cup
Lemon : 1 tablespoon
Oil: for shallow frying
Salt and Pepper to taste
Boil Soy granules in a deep pan as per the instructions on the packet. Turn off the heat and squeeze the excess water from the soy granules.
Chop onion in thin tiny pieces. Crumble cottage cheese with hands and mash the boiled potatoes.
In a separate pan, take 2 tablespoon of oil. Sauté onions and ginger paste. Add cumin powder, oregano, lemon, salt and pepper.Add cottage cheese, mashed potatoes and soy granules. Stir fry them for 2-3 minutes till the all the ingredients combine well.
Bring it off the heat. Allow it to cool.
Now take the mix and divide it into equal ball sized portions.
Take each portion and give it a round shape with your hands. Roll it onto the bread crumbs and shallow fry them in a pan.
Drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Your Cottage cheese and Soy balls are ready to serve !
