Almond Biscotti


Plain Flour: 3 1/4 Cups
Baking Powder:1 Tablespoon
Sugar: 1 1/2 Cup
Salt: 1/3 teaspoon
Unsalted Butter: 10 Tablespoon (melted)
Eggs: 3
Vanilla Extract: 1 Tablespoon
Almonds Toasted: 1 Cup

Toast Almonds in a pan over a stove top for 5-6 minutes till it turns light golden brown.
Mix plain flour,baking powder,almonds and salt in a deep bowl. Whisk sugar,melted butter,eggs and vanilla extract in a separate bowl till the ingredients blend completely. Now combine both the mixtures and prepare a smooth dough.Divide the dough into  equal parts. Make a log /roll of each piece and stretch it to the size of the baking sheet. Press it a little bit to make it 1 inch thick.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 C and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the roll into the baking sheet and bake for around 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Take out the roll and cut it into 1-1.5 inch slices. Place these slices back in the oven and bake for another 5-6 minutes. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and allow it to cool.

There your Almond Biscottis are ready to eat !
