Sugar and Cinnamon Pretzels

Here's our soft, chewy Sugar and Cinnamon Pretzels. If you thought making Pretzels at home was a daunting task, try this recipe today and maybe you'll have a change of mind. Soon it will become a favorite snacks among your family and friends.

Plain Flour: 3 Cups
Yeast: 2 tablespoon
Freshly ground Cinnamon Powder: 1tablespoon
Powdered Sugar: 1/3 Cup
Salt: pinch
Vegetable Oil: 1 tablespoon
Warm Water: 1.5 Cups

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Add salt and sugar and combine it well.
Now add this  yeast mix to the flour. Add cinnamon powder and oil.Knead it to make a smooth dough.Add more water if need be.Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise to double its size. This should take approximately 1-2 hours.

Preheat oven to 220 C. Take a cup sized dough and roll it out into the thick rope and then give it a shape of pretzel.
Bake pretzels in a preheated oven for around 10-15 minutes until it comes out golden brown.Bring it off the oven and your pretzels are ready to serve. If you like, sprinkle some powdered brown sugar over it.

Can be served with cream cheese dip.
