Grated Cheese: 1 cup (Cheddar)
Cream Cheese: 2 tablespoon
Onion: ¼ cup(chopped)
Minced Ginger: ½ tablespoon
Green Chili: 1(optional)
Coriander leaves: 2 tablespoon
Brown bread: 4
Salt: to taste
Method: Mash boiled potatoes. Dip bread in water and squeeze it to take out all the excess water. Now mix mashed potatoes and bread with cream cheese, onion, ginger, green chili and salt. Make smooth dough.
Take ball sized dough. Flatten it on your palm and fill a tablespoon of grated cheese in the center. Close it and similarly repeat the process with the rest of the cheese dough.
Deep fry your cheese balls starting with just one in the pan. This is to ensure that the balls have come out well and are not breaking in the pan.
Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
NOTE: if your cheese balls are breaking while frying that means the dough has lots of moisture in it. Add some bread or plain flour.
