(Healthy and nutritious vegetarian patty)
Channa Dal (Split Bengal Gram): 1 bowl
Soy Nuggets: ¼  bowl
Raw Banana: 2 large
Onion:1 large
Garlic: 10 cloves
Ginger: 2 inch long
Garam Masala powder: 1 tablespoon
Salt: ½ tablespoon
Lemon: ½
Red Chilli powder: ½ tablespoon
Coriander leaves: ¼ cup
Butter: 50 gms
Oil: ¼ cup

Method: Soak Chana dal for 4 hours.In a pressure cooker, boil chana dal for around 2 whistles. It should be cooked evenly but not too mushy. Strain the daal to take out any excess water. Now mash it with potato masher to make a smooth paste.Also, pressures cook your raw bananas till tender. Peel them and mash them to make a coarse paste.Boil Soy Nuggets in a deep pan till tender. Sqeueze the nuggets to drain out any excess water. Mash it too.Make a fine paste of Onion, garlic and ginger. Now in a large bowl, bring chana dal,mashed bananas,soy nuggets. Add onion and ginger garlic paste. Throw in salt, garam masala,melted butter,coriander leaves and red chili powder. Squeeze in some lemon.Stir it evenly so that the ingredients get mixed.

Heat a non stick flat griddle(tava). Take a ball sized mixture and flatten it on your palm. Put it on the griddle and drizzle some oil from the sides. Once it starts turning golden brown,flip it over.
Your melt-in-the-mouth Noor-e-Kebabs are ready to eat. Serve it with thinly sliced onion rings,lemon and green chutney.

Note:If the Chana daal is sticky or too wet, you can roast it on a pan till it’s a little dry. It  should have a consistency to bind the ingredients.
