(An Indian savory layered with potatoes,yogurt and spices)
Papdi: 1 packet (around 250 gms)
Boiled potatoes: 4(medium size)
Fresh yogurt: 2 cups
Namkeen Sev: ½ cup
Green coriander leaves: 2 tablespoon(finely chopped)
Pomegranate: ¼ cup
Salt: to taste
Chat masala: ¼ tablespoon
Red chilli powder: : ¼ tablespoon
Meethi chutney: 1 tablespoon
Hari chutney: 1 tablespoon
Method: Before we start preparing papdi chat, we need to do these things first.
· Whisk yogurt so that it blends evenly. Add little salt to it.
· Boil potatoes. Crumble them.
· Peel pomegranate to take out the seeds
· Chop onions in small pieces
· Chop coriander leaves.
Place papdi on a large plate. Put potatoes on top of it. Layer them with yogurt,namkeen sev,chat masala powder,red chili powder,meethi chutney ,hari chutney,onion, pomegranate and some finely chopped coriander leaves.Your papdi chat is ready to eat.
Note: This should be prepared only when you are ready to eat otherwise if kept prepared for more than 5 minutes, it might turn soggy and would not taste as good.
