 Shanghai Curtain Raiser
(Stir Fried Cottage cheese in Hot and Sweet garlic Sauce –Appetizer)
Cottage Cheese: 10-15 cubes
Onions: 1 large(cut into squares)
Capsicum : 1 large (cut into squares)
Ginger-Garlic Paste: 2 table spoon
Soy Sauce: 1 table spoon
Vinegar: 1 table spoon
Hot and sweet Sauce: 2 table spoon
Spring Onions for garnishing
Take a thick non stick pan. Put oil in the pan and shallow fry the Cottage cheese.
Take them out and put it on the paper towel to drain excess oil.
In the same pan, add some oil. Once the oil gets heated, add ginger garlic paste and onion.
Sauté it for a minute. Add capsicum and cottage cheese. Stir fry on high flame for less than a minute.
Add Soy sauce, vinegar, hot and sweet sauce to it. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Once all the vegetables get coated with the sauce evenly, bring it off the pan.
Garnish it with spring onions before serving.
Your Shanghai Curtain raiser is ready for the guests.
